Who We Are
High Tech Fabrications Ltd was initially formed in 1985 by Peter Lynch a highly skilled welder and entrepreneur. Appreciating the increase of more complex welding codes and standards, he saw an opportunity to provide this service and cater for these complex requirements. He slowly developed and grew the company over the past four decades to the company it is today.
Operating from four separate units we able to provide segregated workshops, an NDE facility and a horizontal boring facility.
We pride ourselves in being able to understand these complex demands and provide a highly skilled workforce to fulfil them with a specialist welding and fabrication service to the Offshore, Petrochemical, Nuclear and general engineering industry. Our extensive library of welding procedures are qualified to either ASME IX, ISO 15614 (previously BSEN 288) or NORSOK M601.
We work with our customers to provide innovative solutions in fabrication design to provide a more competitive, efficient and effective design through the use of our skills and experience.
In addition to this we are able to offer a wide range of on-site NDE facilities encompassing Radiography, DP Examination, Visual Examination, Ferrite Testin, XRF-PMI and pressure testing up to 23,500psi.
History
In 1999 I joined the company which occupied just one of the unit.
High Tech Fabrications is ideally situated close to the M5 corridor, With easy access to the South West, Midlands. South Wales and beyond.
Growing steadily over the next two decades, we now occupy all 4 units on the site.
The Units are separated in order to maintain the integrity and segregation of the materials used. Stainless steels/ nickel alloys in one shop and carbon steel in another.
